Conveyancing.com.au starts a new chapter with an act of kindness

For the past eight years, we’ve been involved in the lives of everyday Australians. Our business started small (in a shed in a back yard) but the idea that started it was anything but small. Christopher Lane, CEO of Conveyancing.com.au, founded Think Conveyancing to help people across the country to buy and sell property safely and with confidence. And for the better part of the past decade we’ve been doing just that – person by person, house by house, document by document.

We know it’s more than just a house; people move, buy, and sell for all sorts of reasons. Being involved with property means being involved with people’s lives. We care about the empty nesters, the expanding families, the downsizers, and the newlyweds. Our passion is to help each story find a safe and happy conclusion.

With the launch of Conveyancing.com.au, we’re continuing that mission and our goal remains the same. On September 30th 2020, Conveyancing.com.au are donating over 10,000 pairs of Happy Socks to the Salvation Army. As we say goodbye to Think Conveyancing and hello to Conveyancing.com.au, we wanted to do something that showcases our values and puts the spotlight on others.

The reason for donating socks? It’s simple. We learned that the average homeless person walks 28km per week to receive help, shelter, or find a safe place to sleep, and we wanted to be a part of the solution to their problems. Each pair of socks will be marked with Think Conveyancing as a way of bidding farewell to the brand that has gotten us this far.

When we look back at where we’ve come from and forward to where we’re heading, it’s the people who matter. “We’re making this change for our customers, staff, and community,” says CEO Christopher Lane, “a brand is made up of people, and we want to empower Australians to participate in their lives”.

The Salvation Army will use the 10,000 socks to help those in need across Queensland. The socks will be sold in stores to help fund the Street Level Mission in Brisbane City, where each day people in need receive a meal and a food hamper to help them get by.

Simon Gregory, from The Salvation Army in Queensland says, “Every day we are in local communities helping to feed, clothe and house vulnerable people and we would not be able to do this without the support of businesses like Conveyancing.com.au”.
